Being betrayed by our own kind for generations left us with no other option but to rely on ourselves. This is our biggest problem, but we can fix it together.
A community is a unified body of individuals with a particular common characteristic, such as interests, beliefs, or needs that affect the community as a whole.
Communities are identified by those who live and own businesses there. Our community, as black Baltimoreans, is different. We live in buildings and shop in stores owned by outside communities.
We even vote for people who do not share our own interests and needs. It's time we create our own leaders who will help rebuild our community and businesses.
As the president of the non-profit WTPAC, my goal is to create new business for our community.
Our purpose is to unite the black community and let it be known that simply surviving is not our only option.
I want my people to be able to invest in the progress of our neighborhoods and become economically independent.
Growth is possible.
Power of Connection
The time has come for us to create a world where we, Black Americans, control our own economics and politics. A place where the control of education, businesses, banks and the community is in our hands.
